Wyatt’s Take

  • President Trump stepped up fast when a grieving mother needed help most.
  • The left keeps pushing open borders while American streets grow more dangerous for innocent kids.
  • Real leadership means fixing problems instead of playing politics with families in pain.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced that President Donald Trump quickly agreed to grant a visa so the mother of a murdered teenager could attend her son’s funeral.

“The murder of a child is a pain no parent should have to endure, let alone from thousands of miles away,” Mamdani wrote Saturday on X. “Javits Frimpong’s mother deserves to say goodbye to her son in person. I just got off the phone with President Trump and he has agreed to grant her visa immediately.”

Javits Frimpong, 15, was walking to school in the Bronx when he was shot in the stomach and died at the hospital.

No arrests have been made in the killing, which remains under investigation by New York City Police.

Thomas Frimpong, the boy’s father, said his son was quiet and had just learned days before the shooting that he was being bullied at school.

“It was the principal who told me,” Thomas Frimpong said. “He said two guys are disturbing my son so he has suspended the two guys. My son is at school. He’s innocent, so I call him. I talk with my son, he said ‘dad, I’m okay.'”

U.S. Rep. Ritchie Torres said the entire Bronx is mourning a young man who should have had his whole future ahead of him.

“Every child in the Bronx deserves to walk to school without fearing for their life, and no parent should ever have to endure what Javits’s father, Thomas, is enduring now.”

Ghanaian Foreign Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa welcomed both Mamdani’s call and Trump’s quick decision to grant the visa.

“Madam Doris Adu Gyamfi’s pain as a loving mother is unimaginable and indeed everything must be done to ensure she is present to pay her respects,” the foreign minister said.

Wyatt Matters

Heartland families know that protecting children and standing by grieving parents matters more than political games. When Washington acts with compassion and speed, it reminds working people that real leadership still exists.

This guy Trump is just all right. For God’s sake, vote in the midterms. The Democrats/socialists/communists/BLMs/jihadis – but I repeat myself – are set to destroy this country if they get control of Congress. They’ve already said the things they are going to do. Don’t let them.
