Americans who packed up and fled to Europe after President Donald Trump’s reelection are now admitting they made a terrible mistake.
These former expats thought life overseas would be better than living under a second Trump term.
Instead, they’re finding out that the grass isn’t greener when you’re paying European taxes and dealing with their problems.
One former American told reporters they had second thoughts almost immediately after settling in the United Kingdom.
“I regret leaving,” the returnee confessed.
Many of these people left the United States thinking President Trump’s victory meant the end of everything they claimed to value.
Now they’re learning that running away from home doesn’t solve your problems.
It just creates new ones in a foreign country where you’re the outsider.

Real Americans understand that the United States, despite its flaws, remains the land of opportunity where hard work still pays off and families can build a future. These people forgot what made this country worth staying for in the first place.

These ‘fools’ suffered from a bad education system controlled by the Teachers’ Unions. They learned how ‘bad’ the US is – actually expecting people to pay for services. In addition, the so-called ‘cuts’ in some of our society’s programs, e.g., Medicaid, were actually tightening rules for enrollment – to make sure that those who need the specific service can get it – and those who are not eligible do not.

These fools have no common sense. I believe they must go through the same process that any other foreigner has to go through. They gave up their citizenship, they have to earn it back. No leniency should be allowed and they have to stand in line like any other foreigner.

Yes. You’re right but it takes a wake up call. Going to a foreign country is definitely a wake up call that why I think every eligible person out of school should be in the military it also teaches discipline and skill but most of all you will appreciate America once you have experienced other countries

Like a child who runs away from home and realizes what a huge mistake it was to and returns minutes later. When you’re paying 70% of your pay to taxes, I guess you realize just how great America really is.

You don’t just move to a foreign country and apply for citizenship immediately. You have to live there for anywhere from 3 to 20 years before you can apply…30 years if you want citizenship in the UAE.
We made it through 4 years of the senile sock puppet Biden and his corrupt administration…who did more to try to destroy this country in 4 short years than anyone thought was possible. The deep state did such a good job of villifying DJT that their liberal voting sheep would hate him even if he found a cure for cancer, ended all wars forever, and walked on water.
They left. Let them feel the full measure of their decision for a while. Maybe they need a bit of reality to show them why people around the world would give everything they own to be able to live here and why standing for our national anthem and saluting our flag is the least they can do to prove their allegiance to our country. With all her faults, there’s no place like the United States of America! And everyone world-wide seems to know that fact except the delusional leftists living here!
