January 1, Democrats TERRIFIED to Answer One Simple Question About Failed VP

Wyatt’s Take

  • House Democrats are running scared when asked if Kamala Harris should run again in 2028 — their silence speaks volumes about her catastrophic 2024 failure
  • Harris didn’t outperform Biden in a single county nationwide, yet she’s keeping the door wide open for another White House bid instead of running for California governor
  • The Democrat bench is already lining up against her — Newsom, Shapiro, Whitmer all positioning themselves because the party knows Harris is damaged goods

House Democrats are dodging and weaving when asked the most basic question in politics: Should Kamala Harris run for president again in 2028? Their evasive answers reveal a party in crisis, terrified to admit what everyone already knows.

“I have no idea,” Rep. Jim Clyburn, the former House majority whip, told reporters. That’s the same Jim Clyburn who helped rescue Biden’s 2020 campaign in South Carolina.

“I have no idea who’s running, and we’ll focus on 2028 after 2026,” Dan Goldman of New York stammered, desperately trying to kick the can down the road.

The responses expose deep party uncertainty about whether Harris could possibly be their strongest candidate. Democrats know what the numbers say, and they’re not pretty.

“I won’t comment until I know whether she really actually is or not,” Rep. Judy Chu of California said, another non-answer from a lawmaker who can’t bring herself to endorse her own state’s former senator.

The Democrats suffered a crushing defeat in 2024, losing the popular vote as Republicans swept to a governing trifecta. The American people rejected the Biden-Harris agenda completely.

Harris didn’t outperform Biden’s 2020 numbers in a single county across the entire United States — not one. Yet she raised eyebrows by passing up a California governor’s race, clearly keeping her powder dry for another presidential run.

“In recent months, I have given serious thought to asking the people of California for the privilege to serve as their Governor,” Harris said in a statement posted to Instagram last July.

“I love this state, its people and its promise. It is my home. However, after careful reflection, I’ve decided not to run for Governor in this election.”

Translation: She’s eyeing the White House again, despite being thoroughly rejected by voters nationwide. But Harris won’t have a clear path.

California Governor Gavin Newsom, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer are all positioning themselves as potential presidential contenders. Each has built their brand by opposing President Donald Trump, hoping that playbook will work in 2028.

Rep. John Larson of Connecticut believes Democrats will have plenty of options beyond just Harris.

“I think that’s her decision,” Larson said of Harris. “But I believe there should be a wide-open Democratic primary, and I think there’ll be a lot of contenders; you know, governors, senators. But I also think people outside of government will be interested in running too.”

“It’ll be a healthy experience, and that anyone who’s interested ought to run,” Larson added.

Notice what he didn’t say: that Harris should be the frontrunner. That Harris earned another shot. That the party rallies behind her. The silence is deafening.

At least one Democrat, Rep. Glenn Ivey of Maryland, didn’t completely rule Harris out of contention.

“I think there’s definitely a lot of support still out there for her. And she seemed real sharp on the issues still. So, we’ll see how it goes. But there’s gonna be a lot of people jumping in that one,” Ivey said.

That’s the most enthusiastic endorsement Harris could get — “she seemed real sharp on the issues still.” That’s setting the bar pretty low for someone who wants to be leader of the free world.

Why It Matters

When a party’s own members won’t defend their most recent presidential candidate, that tells you everything about her political future. Working Americans rejected Harris and her policies once — they remember the inflation, the border crisis, and the out-of-touch coastal elite agenda. Democrats know it too, which is why they’re running from microphones instead of rallying around their former vice president. The 2028 Democrat primary could be a circular firing squad, and Middle America will be watching with popcorn.

She should just stay home and learn some valuable skills, like baking, cooking and sewing and knitting.
She does not belong on the big stage.

Of course the democrats don’t want to be heard not supporting Harris now. They know she would lose again, but they will have to support her if the democrat party chooses her once again. If she is the appointed one, then that proves that the left will do anything to win. That means lots of voter fraud

If she were to run again I believe it would be a for sure blowout win for whatever Republican is running.
