U.S. District Judge James Boasberg blocked a Department of Justice effort to subpoena Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell.

Republicans have targeted Boasberg before over biases against Trump.

US Attorney Jeanine Pirro called the block illegal on grand jury probe.

🚨 BREAKING: US Attorney Jeanine Pirro just announced activist Judge Boasberg has BLOCKED a Grand Jury from investigating the Federal Reserve

Pirro says this block is TOTALLY ILLEGAL.

Boasberg ruled the subpoenas served an improper purpose to push Powell on interest rates.

“Did prosecutors issue those subpoenas for a proper purpose? The Court finds that they did not,” Boasberg wrote.

“On the other side of the scale, the Government has offered no evidence whatsoever that Powell committed any crime other than displeasing the President,” Boasberg continued.

Folks in flyover country feel these judges keep blocking real fixes for high rates hurting our wallets.
