  • Iran’s leaders vow to fight back if the US attacks.

President Trump announced a major US naval force is moving fast toward Iran, urging their leaders to negotiate a nuclear deal before time runs out. He made it clear that if talks fail, the US response will be much tougher than past strikes.

“A massive armada is moving quickly, with great power, enthusiasm, and purpose,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, warning that Iran’s leaders will face worse attacks if no deal is reached. He mentioned the earlier June 2025 bombing campaign, when US bombers and subs hit Iran’s nuclear sites hard.

Iran quickly fired back through official statements, recalling costly US wars in the Middle East. Their message claimed Washington wasted trillions and lost thousands of American lives in past wars, but insisted Iran is prepared to defend itself if pushed.

Meanwhile, the USS Abraham Lincoln strike group has entered the region in a show of strength. News also broke that Saudi Arabia and the UAE are refusing to let US forces use their land or airspace if conflict erupts with Iran.

Iran’s generals answered with threats of their own, saying troops are more ready than ever to defend the country. Still, some Iranian officials claim the door to peace talks is open, though they repeat that their nuclear goals are peaceful.

US intelligence now sees Iran’s rulers as facing their weakest moment in decades. Recent crackdowns have killed thousands, as economic and political unrest mount. Facing pressure at home and abroad, Iran’s leaders have even relocated to fortified bunkers in Tehran.

Trump’s warning leaves no doubt: either make a deal or the next American attack will be stronger than before.
