January 1, FBI Seeks Public Help in Kirk Shooting Case

The FBI office in Salt Lake City shared pictures of a person they want to talk to after Charlie Kirk was killed at Utah Valley University. They are asking Americans to help identify this person.

Officials say the shooter seems young, possibly college-aged. Officers worked all night and gathered camera footage to track down leads.

FBI Special Agent Robert Bohls said, “law enforcement had recovered the rifle with which they believe Kirk was shot.”

The weapon found was a bolt-action rifle hidden in a wooded area.

Authorities also found ammo near the rifle. Reports say these bullets had transgender messages carved onto them.

If you recognize the person in the photos or know anything, the FBI is urging folks to call 1-800-CALL-FBI.
