January 1, Zeldin Clashes with Senate Democrats Over EPA Spending

Lee Zeldin, who leads the EPA, had quite the showdown with some Senate Democrats on Wednesday. He’s trying hard to save taxpayer money at the agency, but it didn’t go down without a fight.

Zeldin faced off with Democrats during a Senate hearing. They got all worked up about him cutting waste and stopping fraud. Can you believe that?

Senator Sheldon Whitehouse from Rhode Island was one of the loudest, accusing Zeldin of making stuff up. But Zeldin wasn’t having it. He straight-up told them that President Trump won’t let the EPA waste money because someone insists on burning through taxpayer dollars.

Zeldin made sure to remind them that Americans voted for Trump because they want responsible leadership. He said Democrats like Whitehouse just don’t get the whole picture. They seem to turn a blind eye to waste and unfair practices, and Zeldin called them out on it.

Then there was Senator Ed Markey from Massachusetts. He kept asking Zeldin for proof of waste and fraud, but wouldn’t even let the guy answer! Talk about rude.

Zeldin was ready to show them the list of all the waste he’s found, but Markey wouldn’t stop interrupting. It’s almost like he didn’t want to hear the truth.

Zeldin later posted online, saying he’s sick of the Democrats’ double talk. He’s right, Americans are fed up with these political games.

And if that wasn’t enough, Zeldin had a little tiff with Senator Adam Schiff from California. Schiff tried to act like Zeldin’s doing a bad job, but Zeldin jokingly said Schiff should write fiction because his stories aren’t based on reality.

Schiff didn’t like that, but Zeldin set the record straight. He’s making real changes at the EPA to help everyone, even folks in California with big issues like hazardous waste.

Zeldin is standing firm and making sure our taxpayer money is spent wisely, just like we want. He’s not backing down, and it’s about time someone put these Democrats in their place.
