January 1, California’s Adam Schiff Expresses Doubts on Biden’s Re-election Prospects Amid Fears of a Second Trump Era
In an unexpected turn of events, California Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff has publicly voiced his doubts about President Joe Biden’s chances in the upcoming presidential campaign. This is the first instance of him calling on Biden to step down.
Schiff voiced these shocking comments in a statement to the Los Angeles Times, expressing his concerns about the potential consequences of a second Trump presidency.
Schiff stated, “Joe Biden has been one of the most consequential presidents in our nation’s history. His service as a senator, a vice president, and now as president, in my view, has improved our nation.”
However, he went on to highlight the crossroads America finds itself at, saying, “A second Trump presidency stands to challenge the very foundations of our democracy. I harbor serious doubts about whether President Biden can successfully take on Donald Trump come November.”
Conceding that the decision ultimately lies with Biden, Schiff suggested that the incumbent president should “pass the torch” to a fellow Democrat who stands a better chance against former President Donald Trump in the upcoming election.
Acknowledging the possible backlash from his words, Schiff asserted that his support would remain with Biden if he chooses to stay in the race, stating, “Regardless of the circumstances, I will do everything I can to ensure success. The singular goal stands: thwarting a Donald Trump triumph. The stakes could not be higher.”
As of now, Schiff is looking to secure a California seat in the U.S. Senate following the death of Dianne Feinstein in September.
Biden, meanwhile, spoke at the NAACP conference on Tuesday and took credit for economic improvements in the black community, but his speech was marred by numerous teleprompter misreads, earning him less than favorable reviews.

Adam Schitt is partisan hack who belongs living on the streets and homeless. He has been sited for contempt of Congress and is recognized as a liar, a with holder of evidence, and general all around jerk. He is a disgrace to his country and the Congress. His views are worthless.
