January 1, Newlywed Husband Decapitates 21-Year-Old Wife
A man confessed to decapitating his 21-year-old wife at their home in Waller County, Texas, according to police.
Sheriff’s deputies found the woman, Anggy Diaz, at about 4:35 p.m. on Wednesday in a small home in a rural, wooded area. Her husband, Jared Dicus, has been charged with her killing, Waller County Sheriff Troy Guidry confirmed.
“It was a portion of a body dismembered and a residence that was covered in blood. So a gruesome scene at best,” Guidry said.
The couple lived in a secondary home behind Dicus’s parent’s home. They just got married in October 2022.
According to the sheriff, Dicus’s family called the police after they discovered Diaz’s body.
The family was detained and transported to the sheriff’s office when deputies arrived. When Dicus, 21, was brought back to provide a witness statement, he confessed to the gruesome crime, officials said.
“Evidence shows the suspect used a kitchen knife,” the sheriff said.
“Everything happened on the property. And all parts and pieces were recovered and submitted for evidence.”
The sheriff noted: “There have been prior calls, disturbance-wise, but nothing to this effect, to this level of violence.”
Diaz was a Nicaraguan citizen, described as “undocumented” by the sheriff.
Dicus will face murder charges, officials said. The investigation is still ongoing.
Surveillance video from the store where Diaz worked appears to show Dicus pull into the parking lot at approximately 11:40 a.m. on the day her body was found. The video shows that Dicus walked into the store, grabbed a beer, and left without paying. He appears to open the beer in the parking lot and take a sip before driving away.
A GoFundMe has been set up to help Diaz’s family pay for her funeral expenses.

it is illegal to hire an illegal alien for a job. Illegal aliens are not undocumented. They actually have documentation. What they do not have is a legal right to be here. Now this filth comes to my country and commits crimes. Deport early and often.

There’s only one solution to this insanity and that is to remove this foul piece of garbage permanently from society. Taxpayers don’t need to by stuck with the costs of long term imprisonment.
