Ring of Honor’s Death Before Dishonor event returned to Philadelphia’s legendary 2300 Arena on Friday night. The packed house witnessed some of the best pro wrestling action of the entire year.

This wasn’t your typical modern wrestling show full of social justice lectures and virtue signaling. This was old-school, hard-hitting entertainment that reminded everyone why American wrestling built a worldwide following in the first place.

Bandido defended his Ring of Honor World Championship against Nick Wayne in what can only be described as an absolute war. Wayne ended up bloodied after his face met the steel steps — the kind of brutal, authentic action that fans actually want to see.

The two competitors traded devastating moves in a sequence that had the crowd on their feet. German suplexes flew back and forth before Wayne connected with a cutter on Bandido.
