January 1, Brady Drops BRUTAL Truth Bomb on Struggling NFL Franchise

Wyatt’s Take
- Tom Brady just delivered the most brutally honest assessment you’ll ever hear from an NFL owner — nobody in the entire organization did their job last season
- The Raiders’ 3-14 disaster landed them the top draft pick, and Brady’s not sugarcoating the total organizational failure that got them there
- With a complete personnel overhaul and Brady’s championship mentality now driving decisions, Las Vegas is betting everything on a massive turnaround
The Las Vegas Raiders have been stuck in football purgatory, and Tom Brady just told them exactly why. The legendary quarterback turned minority owner didn’t pull any punches when discussing the team’s catastrophic 3-14 season that just wrapped up.
Since their last playoff appearance in 2021, the Raiders haven’t sniffed success. They haven’t won more than eight games in any season during that stretch, culminating in last year’s complete meltdown that at least secured them the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 draft.
Brady, who now serves as both a Raiders minority owner and FOX’s lead NFL analyst, appeared on the “Stick to Football” podcast and delivered a harsh reality check to the entire organization.
“I would expect a lot of improvement from where it’s been. Last year, we just underperformed in every area. And it’s everybody’s fault. That’s the reality.”
“There’s nobody who did a good job. There’s not one player in the organization, there’s not anybody involved that did the job to the level that it needs to be done at. And everybody needs to improve. And it starts with me, and it filters down to the rest of the players on the field, and they’ve got to go out there, and ultimately they’ve got to perform at a high level.”
That’s the kind of accountability that built seven Super Bowl championships. Brady isn’t pointing fingers at coaches or players specifically — he’s declaring total organizational failure and putting himself first on the list of people who need to step up.
The seven-time champion made clear he expects a “massive improvement” across the board as Las Vegas completely retooled both its coaching staff and roster. Brady emphasized that quality teams show visible growth from Week 1 to Week 17, something the Raiders failed to demonstrate last season.
The franchise made major moves to turn things around. They hired Klint Kubiak as head coach after he helped guide the Seattle Seahawks to a Super Bowl championship. That’s the kind of winning pedigree this organization desperately needs.
With the top pick, Las Vegas selected quarterback Fernando Mendoza and brought in veteran Kirk Cousins to create real competition at the game’s most important position. The front office also added proven talent including Tyler Linderbaum, Quay Walker, Kwity Payne, Connor Heyward and Jalen Nailor.
The Raiders will get their first chance to prove Brady right when they open the season against the Miami Dolphins on September 13.
Wyatt Matters
This is what real leadership looks like — not making excuses, not blaming circumstances, just demanding excellence and starting with the man in the mirror. Brady built his legacy on accountability and refusing to accept mediocrity. That winning mentality is exactly what struggling franchises need, and it’s refreshing to hear an owner speak truth instead of corporate doublespeak. Middle America respects people who tell it like it is and then roll up their sleeves to fix the problem.
