Ohio police mocked a “criminal mastermind” who went through the trouble of breaking into a local pub just to get away with $0.00.

The Summit County Sheriff’s Office posted surveillance video of the unidentified “Blizzard Bandit” who broke into Brubaker’s Pub in Green, Ohio, at 3:12 a.m. on Dec. 23.

In the video, the man uses a crowbar to smash the lower half of the glass entrance door and then crawls into the pub. He skulks around the establishment and eventually makes his way to the cash registers.

The Blizzard Bandit tries to jump over the counter, but his short stature renders him unsuccessful. Instead, he runs around the counter to access the registers.

Unfortunately for the man, but fortunately for the proprietors of Brubaker’s Pub, the registers were empty.

The man runs out of the broken door and jumps over a patio railing to get away in his vehicle.

The sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

“This criminal mastermind braved sub-zero temperatures, blizzard winds (and now, public ignominy) to make off with precisely $0.00,” the Summit County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a Facebook post. “Let’s make him famous!”

The suspect is described as a white male, short in stature, driving what appears to be a gray Ford sedan.

Anyone with information on the incident or the Blizzard Bandit’s identity should contact the Detective Bureau at (330) 643-2131.

Where I live criminals are allowed to steal up to $750. No punishment. Why track this guy down. He got nothing and will probably not be prosecuted. Crime does pay
