January 1, WATCH: Alec Baldwin Claims He ‘Didn’t Pull the Trigger’ in Fatal Shooting

Actor Alec Baldwin said he didn’t pull the trigger of the gun that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the movie Rust.

“Well, the trigger wasn’t pulled. I didn’t pull the trigger,” Baldwin told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos in a sit-down interview.

“I would never point a gun at anyone and pull a trigger at them. Never,” he added.

The shooting killed Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza in what Baldwin previously called a tragic accident in Sante Fe, New Mexico.

The Sante Fe Sheriff’s Department said it had no comment on Baldwin’s comments.

Investigators have been looking into how live bullets got onto the set, and so far, no charges have been filed.

Two crew members have filed civil lawsuits against Baldwin, who also served as a producer on the film, and other production heads for negligence and lax safety protocols.

Magic , I wonder if the police see it as magic , an awful lot of Democrats would say the gun just went off all by itself , the bullet did it , ahhhhh the trigger did it , nasty gun for pulling its own trigger and aiming at her , perhaps cars should be jailed as well , they just run over people marching at a Christmas parade
