January 1, Wake Up America: Corporate Giants Bend to Pressure, Undermining American Values

Published

on

Well folks, it’s high time we had a chat about our corporate overlords and their blatant disregard for the voice of the American public. No, I’m not referring to the latest tax loophole they’ve exploited, although there’s plenty of that going on too. I’m talking about the insidious way they’re letting woke ideologies override the principles that the majority of us hold dear.

Take Target, for example. Last week, they relocated their Pride displays to the back of certain stores, a move that came only after substantial public protest. But what prompted this move? The fact that their customers – the ordinary, hardworking Americans who once trusted the company – had been voting with their feet… and their wallets. Yes, you read that right, shareholders took a $9 billion hit after the company openly embraced a minority ideology. It seems their attempt at woke capitalism was a little more than their regular clientele could stomach.

But, it’s not just Target. Bud Light is still trying to clean up the mess from their ill-advised partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. The aftermath was a nationwide boycott, and their response? They claim they never intended to be part of a divisive discussion. And yet, they stuck a man’s face on a beer can and promoted an ideology at odds with a substantial portion of their customer base. Anheuser-Busch, Bud Light’s parent company, is now tripling its marketing spending this summer in an effort to patch up the damage.

California State Sen. Scott Wiener and a number of LGBTQ activists are demanding that corporations stand firm and resist the pressure. I can’t help but wonder, where’s the consideration for the silent majority, the folks who simply want to buy products without a side dish of political agenda?

Here’s the crux of it. We’re talking about businesses, whose very existence relies on the buying power of the American people. If they disregard the values of the majority, shouldn’t they expect to feel the pinch? If they choose to put ideology before customer satisfaction, shouldn’t they expect a hit to their bottom line?

Let’s not forget that the America we love was built on principles of freedom and liberty, on the conviction that individuals should have the right to live according to their own beliefs. When corporations choose to take a stance that silences the majority, they’re undermining the very essence of what it means to be American.

Our society thrives on diversity and mutual respect. But for that to work, corporations must also respect the diversity of opinion within their customer base. And if they fail to do so, then it’s only fair they bear the brunt of their misjudged actions. The power, as always, rests with you, the American consumer. The choice is yours.

I have no problem with who somebody dates, straight, gay, black, white, whatever. None of my business. I’m from the real old school, 65 years ago, and had one gay guy in class that I can remember. Nobody bothered him and unless you knew him you wouldn’t know he was gay. Nobody pushed anything on anyone back them. We had every ethnic family living on our street and a black family as well. Everyone got along fine. Every kids door was open to walk into anytime and if you walked in at dinner you were invited to stay and join the family. Yes, there were arguments and disagreements, but it was all kids stuff and lasted a day or two. We played football in the street all day after school and we all hung around and talked to each other. No ipads, cell phones, no hatred. In school we stood to the Pledge of Allegiance every morning and “One Nation Under God” was part of it. We all loved our country and believed in it.

The world today sucks and pushing somebody elses agenda on everyone is absurd. I don’t need to watch guys kissing on TV, mass robberies, shootings, etc. This may sound crazy, but I’m on the short end of this journey and I wouldn’t want to be here in 10 or 15 years.

Believe me even gay amd lesbians are getting sick of LGBTQ and the woke as well. There are MANY of us that cannot stand the left unhinged, derailed mental cases that are making up part of the culture. We are ALSO boycotting companies but not in support of LGBTQ but in support of the conservatives, pritecting children, and companies bending to the gutter trash of the culture. LGBTQ NEVER provide the positive aspects of the culture, the doctors, nurses, artists, lawyers, and other professionals that do respect religion, not shoving our lifestyles in peoples faces, and are only trying to get along with people and just make a living. Instead the have the toxic, depraved mentally deranged representing the culture and the rest of us get limped in with this teash! Know there are allies within the culture that can’t stand woke corporations and the disgusting vile LGBTQ these days!

Sick sick sick! Stand strong conservatives against LGBTQ and trying to indoctrinate and sexualize children. Again, that is coming from a gay man so what does that tell you?

Good to see the pushback & we the people must continue to boycott & show these companies that they are caving in to the minority & they Will be punished for their sick un-American antics especially with the exploytation of our youth. They need to be shamed for their sins of caving in to themental defectives.

The Dem/Communists found out that they can regulate the populations with the Covid shutdowns and they are using their money to control everyone and will continue to play God. Gates, Bezos, Soros, Zuckerberg and the other billionaires want to rule the world so they can make more and more money. They are Satan’s followers.
