January 1, Voters File Lawsuit to Block Greene’s Reelection Bid

Published

on

A group of Georgia residents filed a lawsuit aiming to prevent Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) from seeking reelection, calling Greene an “insurrectionist.”

The group claims Greene is unfit for office because she violated the Constitution’s “Insurrectionist Disqualification Clause.”

The Civil War-era provision bans individuals who have participated in an “insurrection or rebellion” or “given aid or comfort” to enemies of the state.

“After taking the oath to defend and protect the Constitution, before, on, and after Jan. 6, 2021, Greene voluntarily aided and engaged in an insurrection to obstruct the peaceful transfer of presidential power,” the suit reads.

Free Speech For People, a Texas-based advocacy group representing the Georgia voters, brought a similar legal challenge against Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.). A federal judge dismissed the claim against Cawthorn earlier this month.

Clearly this group of people ate part of the liberal/progressive socialist/communist anti:-Americans who want to destroy the US and the rights and freedoms of the American people. Where is their evidence. How can they not speak up or why haven’t they against the blatant corruption and treasonous behavior of way too many who are office both in the US House and Senate, state, city and local governments. That corruption which is true corruption they allow to happen and actually encourage it. The only ones that they are disgracing and embarrassing is themselves.

Marxists like these idiots obviously are, don’t care about having evidence (which they don’t have). They hate this country and care ONLY about DESTROYING it. Greene is a tough cookie, so she’ll “spit in their eye” and go on to win again.

If she violated a law still on the books, then she should not run. Amazing how people on this blog want the rule of law and excoriate liberals for not following the rule of law. Then when the rule of law goes against these so called conservatives, they suddenly find all kinds of names for liberals who just want to tsee the rule of law.

Since when do liberals want the TRUE Rule of Law??? Don’t forget, “laws for thee, but not for me”. I’ve never seen such utter blatant hypocrisy and downright meanness in all my life….which is pretty long!
