A federal jury has acquitted Michael Sussmann, a lawyer who represented Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, of lying to the FBI.
The jury found that Special Counsel John Durham had not proven beyond a reasonable doubt that Sussmann had lied to the FBI in September 2016.
“I told the truth to the FBI, and the Jury clearly recognized this in their unanimous verdict today,” Sussmann said on Tuesday after the verdict.
“I’m grateful to the members of the jury for their careful, thoughtful service,” he continued. “Despite being falsely accused, I believe that Justice ultimately prevailed in my case. As you can imagine, this has been a difficult year for my family and me. But right now, we are grateful for the love and support of so many during this ordeal.”
Sussmann had been accused of lying to the bureau — a felony charge — when he told the FBI that he was not representing a client when presenting them with allegations about a secret communication channel between the Trump Organization and Russia’s Alfa Bank.
“While we are disappointed in the outcome, we respect the jury’s decision and thank them for their service,” Durham said.
“I also want to recognize and thank the investigators and the prosecution team for their dedicated efforts in seeking truth and justice in this case,” he added.

Apparently in these cases if you have any connections with the defendant or any of the jurors who have followed the case. Jurors who have an opinion on the justice department are still able to sit in on the case. Unlike state court where you are automatically dismissed because of prejudice. Most of the people new this has been nothing more than a dog and pony show anyway. These corrupt politicians and lawyers are beyond the law. Especially when you allow jurors who have a relationship with the defendant and still remain on the jury. You would have to be a fool not to see the outcome even before they proceed. Like I said earlier this was nothing more than a dog and pony show. A mockery of our justice department. My personal opinion is that no one involved in this criminal investigation will be charged. How disgusting can this whole charade get. Stop fucking wasting the taxpayer money on a joke. I guarantee that the liberal media will have a field day on this and will promote innocence of Hilary Clinton.

Everybody saw this verdict coming before the trial even started. Half of the jury and the judge were connected to either sussman or hillary somehow. This is just another example in a long line of clinton coverups. The Deep State has its way again.

I think it is really sad that politicians get away with just about every illegal thing they do with no consequences. All the cover ups or the way they twist the words a cover is a cover up. All so there’s no egg on on anyones face. It’s time they were put in prison and put out to pasture.
