January 1, Vandal Targets NY Congresswoman’s DC Home

• Rep. Tenney’s Washington, D.C. home was vandalized overnight.
• Police are investigating, and the motive isn’t clear yet.
• No injuries reported, but a window was broken.

Rep. Claudia Tenney’s private residence in D.C. was vandalized, but thankfully, no one was injured. Police responded quickly and are now investigating who did it and why.

Authorities from the U.S. Capitol Police and the D.C. Metropolitan Police are leading the investigation. There’s still no word on who the suspect is or what prompted the attack, but a broken window was reported at the scene.

“This incident at my residence in Washington was disturbing and unacceptable.”

Tenney stated.

“I am grateful that no one was hurt, and I want to thank law enforcement for their rapid response and continued efforts to keep our community safe.”

“Violence, intimidation, and attacks against public officials or their families have no place in our society.”

“I will not be deterred from doing my job on behalf of the people of New York.”

Tenney serves New York’s 24th Congressional District, representing the Lake Ontario shoreline region.
