January 1, Vance Exposes Coward Democrats at SOTU

Wyatt’s Take

  • Democrats refused to stand for America first.
  • They glanced around for cues before clapping.
  • Even heroes got delayed cheers from the left.

Vice President JD Vance watched Democrats during President Trump’s State of the Union speech. He saw their cowardice as they looked to each other for permission to react.

Most didn’t stand or applaud Trump’s first-year wins or America-first message.

“First of all, obviously, most Democrats didn’t stand up or clap, and what a shame that is,” Vance said.

“What a sad commentary that is on the Democratic Party, that the idea that the American government should stand for American citizens, not illegal aliens. That shouldn’t be controversial, but apparently it was to the Democrats.”

A few clapped politely but hesitated, fearing far-left primaries, Vance noted.

“But I will say, Bill, something that I saw that probably most TV viewers didn’t see was really the cowardice, because there were a few Democrats who sort of politely clapped,” Vance said.

“They were all looking around for cues from their colleagues, because they didn’t have the courage to stand on their own.”

The same happened when Trump introduced heroes. Democrats gave muted responses.

“And that, more than anything, Bill, is the saddest commentary on the Democratic Party, that not only will they not stand for the idea that Americans should come first, they won’t even have the courage of their convictions,” Vance added.

They lack backbone, leaning on neighbors instead. Time to back real leaders in 2026 who fight for us.

When President Biden condemned political violence as “unacceptable” and having “no place in America” during his 2023 State of the Union address, Republicans just sat there and didn’t even applaud.

However, President Trump received a standing ovation from Republican lawmakers and administration officials when he bragged during his State of the Union address about taking nutrition assistance from millions, which he euphemistically characterized as lifting people off food stamps. “In one year, we have lifted 2.4 million Americans—a record—off of food stamps,” Trump said.

Why are people giving a standing ovation when what Trump said was that he had managed to take food assistance away from Millions of children, elderly people, disabled people, and veterans?
