January 1, Uvalde Residents Weigh-In on O’Rourke’s Interruption: “Bulls—t”
Uvalde residents are speaking out after Texas gubernatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke (D) interrupted Gov. Greg Abbott (R) during a press conference.
O’Rourke had rushed the stage as Abbott spoke and accused him of “doing nothing” to prevent mass shootings.
“Yeah, it’s bulls—t, man,” said one resident on the condition of anonymity. “People are grieving, trying to process their loss, and Beto is running around doing this stuff. It’s bull—-, save it for later.”
Family members of the victims of the elementary school shooting were in attendance at the press conference, including Cody Ytuarte, whose two cousins were killed and another wounded.
“There’s a time and place to address certain things like that,” Ytuarte said. “To do it in the moment in which the tragedy is being addressed so recently, to come in and to act in that way is pure propaganda.”

Cris Vazquez and Brenda Hidalgo, both “Republicans”, were appalled by what Beto did but support closing background check loopholes.????? What loopholes?
