January 1, UN Boss Fights to Keep Climate Fear Alive
Wyatt’s Take
- UN leader Antonio Guterres is not letting climate panic fade without a fight.
- This comes even as big figures on the topic admit public worry is fading.
- Guterres is set to host a major climate meeting in Brazil soon.
Antonio Guterres, chief of the United Nations, refuses to back down from climate change warnings.
Even with new admissions from folks like Bill Gates, Guterres is pushing on with calls for net-zero policies.
He plans to host COP30, the UN climate summit, this November in Brazil.
In a recent speech, Guterres quoted the line,
“Do not go gentle into that good night,”
from poet Dylan Thomas, urging supporters to keep up the fight.
Some believe he is now the face of those clinging to climate alarm even as the spotlight dims.
What matters for American families is whether all this talk leads to real everyday change or just more political drama.
Wyatt Matters
Regular Americans want truth over hype, and they’re tired of fear used as a tool for politics. Folks in the heartland care about real results, not fancy speeches.
