Wyatt’s Take

  • Intelligence officials referred the original whistleblower and the former Inspector General for possible criminal prosecution.
  • Records show the 2019 investigation into Trump’s Ukraine call did not follow standard procedures.
  • Critics are melting down as the administration works to clear the records of those unfairly targeted.

The establishment is panicking because the truth about the first impeachment is finally coming out. DNI Tulsi Gabbard found that standard rules were ignored to target President Trump.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released documents showing a previous investigation into Donald Trump’s phone call with the Ukrainian president was flawed. The probe into the 2019 call did not follow standard Inspector General procedures during the first impeachment effort.

Gabbard referred former CIA employee Eric Ciaramella and former Inspector General Michael Atkinson to the Justice Department. This move follows the release of documents alleging a conspiracy behind the initial push to remove Trump from office.

“The move comes days after Gabbard released documents alleging a conspiracy behind Trump’s first impeachment.”

The original complaint from 2019 alleged that Trump threatened to withhold aid to Ukraine unless officials investigated Hunter Biden’s business dealings. Hunter Biden had been appointed to the board of a Ukrainian gas company called Burisma back in 2014.

While the House voted to impeach Trump in 2019, the Senate acquitted him of all charges in early 2020. Tulsi Gabbard notably voted present on the articles of impeachment during her time in Congress.

Mainstream media hosts are now claiming these criminal referrals are an attempt to undermine future elections. They are also upset that the Justice Department is looking to toss out convictions related to January 6th protests.

“In both instances, the administration, it is not just trying to sanitize the past, it is laying the groundwork for future efforts.”

Wyatt Matters

Middle Americans know the first impeachment was driven by leaks, spin, and political theater. Holding officials accountable matters because the rule of law should apply to everyone.
