Wyatt’s Take

  • Stays put on farm except for church or ball games.
  • Kids work hard on farm days with grandpa and uncle, building old-school values.
  • Joins Hulk Hogan’s Real American Beer as investor for non-alcoholic RAB ZERO.

Country star Brantley Gilbert hunkers down on his South Georgia farm with his family. He skips social media and the road noise to focus on real life now that he’s 14 years sober.

His three kids get homeschooled through his wife Amber’s hybrid Christian academy, learning what they need instead of agendas from certain folks.

“I don’t live on social media. I actually barely ever look at it.”

Gilbert said.

“Just as a husband and a father of three, you know, between that and the music business, I don’t really have enough time and enough effort to put into something that could take so much away from them.”

“Teaching kids what kids need to know and not so much what, you know, certain people in this world feel like they’d like them to know.”

“I don’t know that I could have been a dad. I definitely couldn’t have been the kind of dad that I want to be.”

Folks, follow Gilbert’s lead—put family and faith over screens and booze. Share this with hardworking dads everywhere.

Four of my grandchildren were home education. One went to a Christian university and came out woke. The other three did trade school. One is a vet tech (and homeschooling her three kids), and the boys both currently work with my son as welders. The younger one is also an electrician and is going to farrier school. I’m a big fan of home education.

I wholeheartedly agree home schooling is best especially in large Cities and large school districts. These seem to loose the sight of educating the children with the emphasis on reading science math geography American history and definitely civics. Cell phones should be banned in the class room and no teaching of DEI or woke
