January 1, Trump Visits Federal Reserve Amid Interest Rate Tensions

Hey folks, listen up! President Trump is heading over to the Federal Reserve on Thursday. Now, if you’ve been paying attention, you know he’s not happy with Fed Chairman Jerome Powell. Why? Because Powell just won’t listen and lower those interest rates, and we all know how important that is!

So, Trump’s gonna visit the Fed’s building in Washington, D.C. Let’s remember, Trump picked Powell for the job back in 2017, but lately, he’s been plenty mad about how Powell’s handling things. Trump’s saying the housing market isn’t doing well because of those high interest rates, and families are getting hurt. Even Uncle Sam is paying more than he should!

Trump took to Truth Social, saying we should have interest rates three points lower to save us $1 trillion a year! He thinks Powell just doesn’t understand it, and neither does the Fed Board, and that’s a shame.

Powell, on the other hand, blamed tariffs for making things tough, but that could change when the Fed meets next week. Trump even joked about firing Powell, but he can’t do that just because of some disagreements.

Plus, there’s a bunch of noise about the Fed’s renovation project getting way more expensive than it should be. It’s got folks on edge and even led to some criminal referral over lying to Congress!

But don’t worry, Trump’s got a plan. We’ve got less than a year to make a change, and he’s confident we’ll pick someone great who knows how to lower those interest rates. We deserve better, and Trump’s on it!

Wyatt Matters!

Interest rates are a big deal because they affect how much money people have to pay when they borrow money. Right now, they are too high, and this is making it harder for families to buy homes and for the economy to do well. When President Trump picked Jerome Powell to be in charge of the Federal Reserve, he hoped the interest rates would be better for everyone. But now, things aren’t going as planned, and people are worried.

President Trump thinks the Federal Reserve should lower the interest rates by three points to help save a lot of money, maybe even $1 trillion a year! This would make it easier for people to afford houses and also help the government save money. Trump is frustrated because Powell and the Fed Board don’t seem to see things the same way. He feels that lowering interest rates would make a big, positive difference for everyone.

Even though Powell talks about other problems like tariffs, President Trump is focused on doing what’s best for families and the economy. There’s also talk about the Federal Reserve spending too much on fixing their building, which is making people upset. But President Trump believes there’s still time to make changes and pick someone who understands how important it is to lower interest rates and help everyone out.

Powell is deep state and knows tariffs are not a real excuse. He wants to derail POTUS’s agenda, pure and simple.
