January 1, Trump ‘Very Appreciative’ of Biden’s Praise
President Joe Biden’s praise for the previous administration’s COVID-19 vaccine “surprised” former President Donald Trump, the 45th president said.
“Thanks to the prior administration and our scientific community, America was one of the first countries to get the vaccine,” Biden said from the White House.
“Thanks to my administration and the hard work of Americans, we led a rollout that made America among the world leaders in getting shots in arms,” Biden added, referring to the Trump administration’s COVID-19 vaccine effort called “Operation Warp Speed.”
Trump told Fox News that he was surprised and appreciative of Biden’s comments, adding that he believes they will help heal the country.
“I’m very appreciative of that — I was surprised to hear it,” Trump said. “I think it was a terrific thing, and I think it makes a lot of people happy.”
“I think he did something very good,” Trump said. “You know, it has to be a process of healing in this country, and that will help a lot.”
“When we came up with these incredible vaccines — three of them — and therapeutics, we did a tremendous job, and we should never disparage them,” Trump continued. “We should be really happy about it because we’ve all saved millions and millions of lives all over the world.”
Trump told the outlet that the key to circumventing vaccine skepticism lies within the tone they are discussed with, noting that he believes mandates are not the proper response.
The former president recently revealed to Bill O’Reilly that he received a COVID-19 booster shot.

I was always against the vaccines even if it was Trump that made it happen…I didn’t agree with him and I still don’t but I would still vote for him

Hi Lisa. Just wondering why you are against the Covid vaccine. Or are you against vaccines in general. I took the vaccines based on the recommendation of my family doctor, as well as taking the yearly flu vaccine (and just took the shingles shot). I just hear a lot of politics and trying to understand people’s rationale and how they came to their decision. I think it is definitely a personal decision based on several factors just like deciding to drive a full-sized truck or a small car.

Great points David and a highly aware and intelligent response. Vaccines have been highly politicized so we have lost the true meaning of why we take them. Even Trump is changed his tune and says to take them? And btw he took them when he was telling the public not to or to take ridiculous alternatives. If people don’t want to take them, it’s their prerogative but when it impacts others, that is literally selfish and irresponsible!
We have been taking vaccines in this country and around the world for over 150 years.
They helped us get thru numerous infections and diseases like: Polio, Shingles, Flu, Influenza, Hepatitus, Chicken Pox, Diphtheria/tentanus, measles/mumps, pneumonia, small pox, tuberculosis, rabies, cholera, typhoid fever, and more.
Where would we be without them? hundreds of millions would not be on this planet today.
Geez, Lincoln almost died of Smallpox! FDR was an invalid because of Polio!
People need to get smarter and see that vaccinations relate to your health and should not be politicized!
And stop spreading the BS

The guy is nothing but a scam artist Both Trump university and Trump charity organization are proof of that His latest scam is getting donations by claiming he is running again for President in 2-024. Until he officially declares he is a candidate he just pockets the money he can use it to get the engine on his jet fixed and pay off his loan tio Deutsche bank. which by the way he has defaulted on before. If the guy is the billionaire he claims to be then why don’t he pay his bills ? Why is he begging for donations from people like you? I am now worried just how much Trump will find hard to reverse and are we being led down a darker hole? I do not like his comments about the so called vaccine or the huge number of people who have died and have worse symptoms than the virus! They say the death rate from the injections is about 4+% yet the actual death rate from the virus is about 0.006%. Before you all jump up and down; there is a difference between dying with the virus not because of the virus. So check the total deaths and you will be shocked. There has been NO JUMP or SPIKE in deaths total over the last five years. Maybe take a step back and ask “are we really being played”?

That’s the divide in America now- haters vs. lovers. Trump and most others love America; Progressives in the electorate, mainstream media, and the permanent bureaucracy seem to hate this country and the everyday folks who love One Nation Under God. What Progressives do is almost always a trick, like these MRNA vaccines seem to be: a smart observer mentioned that Biden is giving Trump credit for the vaccines, because they intend to blame Trump later when they prove to be ineffective in stopping the plague.
