The report analyzed a quarter-million votes to track how the GOP has changed since 2023. It found that even known moderates like Rep. Mike Lawler are now voting for major spending cuts and fiscal restraint.
The shift stands out because it suggests movement not in rhetoric but in voting behavior.
While traditional limited-government scores for some members have dipped, it is because they are embracing populist ideas on trade and labor. Senator Josh Hawley is a prime example, keeping high marks on national security while fighting for the working man on economic issues.
The latest report shows that different wings of the Republican Party are increasingly gravitating toward President Trump’s policy agenda.
The era of the establishment Republican appears to be ending as the party consolidates around a nationalist vision. This shift simplifies the GOP message and makes it harder for the media to find cracks in the party’s foundation.

Sorry. I’m not buying it. There had been a major shift from what Trump ran on during the campaign and what’s been going on lately. Trump promised the American people that he was going to stop nation building in other countries, stop foreign wars, stop world organizations that threaten our sovereignty and put America first. Instead, he and the republicans save the UN when is was on the brink of collapse, funds the war in Ukraine, spends billions on fighting wars for Israel, allows DEI to stay in spending bills, covers up the biggest satanic human trafficking scandal in history, hires PeterThiel of Palintar to create a data base on every citizen of the USA so they can roll out a Soviet style surveillance state, and does nothing to stop the digital ID or the digital dollar. They refuse to pass the save act. The republicans are trying to pass an amnesty bill for millions of illegals. The DOGE cuts were cancelled. They are still funding USAID, billions for refugees, planned parenthood is receiving funding. While everyone is distracted, the current administration is quietly finishing the final stages of the new world order, the one world totalitarian dictatorship. None of this is what I voted for and none of it it putting America first.
