Donald Trump Jr. and Joy Baher Clash Over Black Face on the View

(NBC News) – “We’ve all done things that we regret, I mean, if we’re talking about bringing a discourse down, Joy, you’ve worn blackface,” said Donald Trump Jr..

“No, I have not,” Behar retorted.

Trump Jr. referred to a video of a 2016 episode of “The View,” which began making the rounds in February 2019. In the clip, Behar addressed years-old photos in which she darkened her skin and dressed up as an African woman.

Trump Ordered to Pay $2M Over Nonprofits

(ABC News) – President Donald Trump has been ordered by a New York State judge to pay $2 million to a group of nonprofit organizations as part of a settlement in a civil lawsuit stemming from persistent violations of state charities laws.

The payment is the final resolution to a case brought by the New York attorney general’s office after the Trump Foundation held a fundraiser for military veterans during the 2016 campaign.

Rep. Omar: Facebook, Twitter Fuel White Nationalism

(The Jerusalem Post) – Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-Minnisotta) slammed social media platforms Facebook and Twitter for not taking seriously their role in spreading white nationalism and misinformation.

A report released just yesterday studied my own Twitter mentions. They found that almost 60% of the accounts that mentioned me used explicit hate speech whether it was in regards to Islamophobia or anti-immigrant rhetoric.”
