Trump Has Made a Decision About 2024
ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY…
1799: The Rosetta Stone is found in the Egyptian village of Rosetta by French Captain Pierre-François Bouchard during Napoleon’s Egyptian Campaign.
“Well, in my own mind, I’ve already made that decision, so nothing factors in anymore. In my own mind, I’ve already made that decision,” Trump told New York Magazine in a new interview.
Trump told the outlet that the “big decision” is whether to announce before or after the upcoming midterm elections.
“Do I go before or after? That will be my big decision.”
“I just think that there are certain assets to before,” he continued. “Let people know. I think a lot of people would not even run if I did that because, if you look at the polls, they don’t even register. Most of these people. And I think that you would actually have a backlash against them if they ran. People want me to run.”
“If Trump is going to run, the sooner he gets in and talks about winning the next election, the better,” Graham told The Washington Post. “It will refocus his attention — less grievance, more about the future.”
When asked if he considers Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis a rival in the 2024 presidential primary, Trump said he doesn’t feel that way.
“I don’t feel that,” Trump said, adding that they “have a good relationship.”
While Trump is “amazingly busy” as of late, “nothing compares to getting things done that you can’t do from any other position other than president.”
“I made America great again, and I may have to do it again.”
