January 1, Trump Blasts Zelensky for ‘Worst Statement’ on Ukraine Conflict

Published

on

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thinks the war with Russia is still a long way from ending, and that really upset former President Donald Trump!

Trump said on Truth Social that Zelensky shouldn’t have said that, and he was clear that America shouldn’t put up with such talk for long. Trump also pointed out that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer thinks Europe should do more to make peace happen, but they still want help from the U.S.

Trump believes Zelensky doesn’t really want peace while America is helping him. He said Europe told Zelensky they can’t handle things without the U.S., which doesn’t really show strength against Russia. Trump wonders what Europe is thinking.

Over the weekend, Zelensky met with European leaders and said he hopes the strong ties with the U.S. will keep going even after some deals fell apart. Last Friday, it got tense with Trump and Vice President JD Vance when they argued about how to end the Ukraine-Russia war. America has sent billions to help Ukraine so far.

Trump warned Zelensky he was taking a big risk with World War III by not working harder for peace. Zelensky said the war could affect the U.S. in the future, which didn’t sit well with Trump.

On Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said Zelensky was in the U.S. trying to make a pretend deal, not real peace. He might have wanted big money and security guarantees, but that didn’t work out.

Lutnick said it was clear Trump is the real peacemaker and if Zelensky isn’t serious about peace, he should think it over back home.

Wyatt Matters!

The ongoing situation between Ukraine and Russia is serious and complicated. President Zelensky believes the war is far from over, which has caused concern for some, like former President Trump. Trump feels that such statements are not helpful, especially when America is involved in supporting Ukraine. He thinks that leaders in Europe, like Prime Minister Keir Starmer, should do more for peace while still expecting help from the United States.

Trump is skeptical about Zelensky’s commitment to peace while the U.S. continues its support. He points out that Europe relies heavily on the U.S., which might not show strength against Russia. There’s a worry that Europe’s dependence could weaken efforts to handle the situation more independently. The tension over how to proceed affects discussions not only in Europe but also in the U.S., where leaders like Vice President JD Vance are debating the best path forward.

The visit of President Zelensky to the U.S. and his meetings with European leaders highlight the importance of maintaining strong alliances. However, not everyone agrees on the approach to take for peace. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick on Fox News criticized Zelensky’s recent actions, suggesting he was more focused on dealing with money and security than solid peace efforts. The differing opinions show how challenging it can be to find a solution that satisfies everyone and keeps the peace process moving.

Sadly Zelensky showed no respect for the Oval Office from the get go , he had no desire for peace talks at all by his dress and demeanour.
It was clear he was just after more money for his coffers and to grandstand to the American public, he failed miserably. Trump and JD handled him correctly. It was possibly a set up by the democrats as Zelensky, their puppet met with them in he morning before the meeting.

Zelensky only wants money and not peace. We don’t know what he has done with the billions of dollars he has gotten already from us. Enough is enough, we have thrown enough money away there anyway.

I agree, and wonder if he shared some of that money with someone involved. Some countries were smart enough to make their contributions a “loan” but that wasn’t the case with us. Our president just filled his hands everytime he asked, putting our own country so much deeper in debt, IMO.

When the Democrats that are anti trump met with Zelensky just prior to the White House meeting what did you expect. To try and embarass the President and score points with the anti trump coalition…silly childish move…guess who lost on that? When Ukraine sends its “models” across the globe to fashion shows…WTF???? I thought you were fighting for your survival??? Apparently not if you would have us believe your country is circling the drain. Yes, Russia did invade Ukraine. I can’t argue that truth. the issue is how to stop the fighting.Russia and Ukraine have fought each other since the beginnings of what we call Russia, just a fact. Let Europe handle this, Zelensky is trying to backdoor his way into NATO. United States of America has footed the bills to many European countries for way to long. Time to stop being the police of the world, time to end being the money giver to all that ask. A time of isolationism is needed, not forever, just till WE the People actually know where OUR money goes to. I am on SSA and can only imagine how fuller my check would be if only Ukraine hadn’t sucked the billions away under the cardboard corpse. My opinion

Trump insulted Zelensky before he even stepped foot into the Whitehouse by mocking the uniform he wears in solidarity with his soldiers. The cameras were brought in specifically to show Trump and Vance brow beating Zelensky. Again the reporter was planted to mock the uniform trying to make Zelensky look ignorant but it only proved Americans are ignorant and rude. It was a setup to give Trump a reason to stop aid. Zelensky has thanked us a dozen times but Vance attacked fir no reason. It was disgraceful and embarrassing. It was all a show for Putin who is running our Country through Trump because they own him. Trump is tge worstvPresident we have ever had. He is destroying us from the inside with Elon Musk

Sorry that you feel that way. Sorry that you have been deceived for so long by the Biden/Harris Administration that you think America really needs to foot the bill for a country that is profiting from war. You need to take a long look in the mirror and ask yourself. Am I a true American or am I treasonous imposter?

Not Trump insulted Zelensky; but Zelensky jeopardized his own people and country.
