January 1, WATCH: Texas Says Uvalde Police’s Response Was an “Abject Failure”

Texas state officials declared that the police response to the mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde was “an abject failure antithetical to everything we’ve learned over the last two decades since the Columbine massacre.”

The Texas Senate held a special hearing on the police response to the shooting at Robb Elementary School on Tuesday.

“Three minutes after the subject entered the west building, there was a sufficient number of armed officers — wearing body armor — to isolate, distract and neutralize the subject,” said Steven McCraw, director of the Texas Department of Public Safety.

“The only thing stopping a hallway of dedicated officers from entering room 111 and 112 was the on-scene commander, who decided to place the lives of officers before the lives of children,” McCraw added.

“The officers had weapons, the children had none. The officers had body armor, the children had none. The officers had training, the subject had none.”

THE ONES AT FAULT ARE THE UVALDE SCHOOL THAT LEFT THEIR DOORS UNLOCKED AND DID NOTHING TO SECURE THE LIVES OF THE STUDENTS THEREIN…………MAYBE THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE IMMUNE BECAUSE THEY WERE PART OF A HISPANIC COMMUNITY……..MAYBE NOW THEY KNOW THAT ALL SCHOOLS SHOULD HAVE THEIR DOORS LOCKED AFTER SCHOOL STARTS.

THAT SCHOOL WANTS TO BLAME THE POLICE SO THAT THE PARENTS ARE NOT BLAMING THE SCHOOL FOR DOING WHAT THEY ARE PAID TO DO……………..
