January 1, Stallone’s Surprising Praise for Trump’s Presidency
Sylvester Stallone, the famous actor from the Rocky movies, praised President-elect Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago. Stallone called Trump “the second George Washington,” which shows how much he admires him.
Stallone was excited about Trump’s big win. He told everyone there that Trump is like a “mythical character.” Stallone loves stories about heroes and legends, and he thinks Trump is one of them.
He said, “Trump is someone you don’t see every day. No one else could have done what he did.” Stallone compared Trump to George Washington, the first president, saying Washington didn’t know he would change the world when he defended America.
Stallone mostly stayed out of the spotlight during the election, but he did support Republican ideas by moving to Florida.
He also talked about being pro-life because he survived when his mom almost chose abortion. He shared this on a podcast with his daughters, Sophia and Sistine, while discussing his life documentary, SLY.
Stallone had a tough childhood with parents who didn’t pay much attention to him. His mom once said he only survived because an abortion attempt didn’t work. This kind of talk is shocking and hurtful, as his daughter Sophia pointed out.
Stallone chose not to include these harsh details in his documentary because it might be too hard for viewers to hear.
