Soccer isn’t usually this wild, but a snowstorm turned the Canadian Premier League final into pure chaos with action on and off the field.

Atlético Ottawa and Calvary FC battled for the title in a swirling blizzard, forcing players and crews to clear the field between plays and making every move a struggle for control.

The big moment came on a bicycle kick that found the back of the net despite heavy snow, putting Ottawa ahead. The match was fast and physical, and in the end, Ottawa took home the championship trophy with a 2-1 win.

At the same time, dangerous snow buried communities down by Lake Michigan, with blizzard conditions making travel risky and, in some places, impossible.
