January 1, SHOCKING Reality Behind Why Our Carrier Crews Are Breaking After BRUTAL Deployment
Wyatt’s Take
- The USS Abraham Lincoln carrier group has been stretched dangerously thin in months-long Middle East deployments while Biden-era brass scrambles to manage rising mental health crises among exhausted sailors
- CENTCOM leadership is finally acknowledging what families have known for months: these extended combat rotations are pushing our military personnel past the breaking point
- While commanders issue hollow praise, the real story is a Navy struggling under the weight of endless foreign entanglements without clear objectives or exit strategies
The crew of the USS Abraham Lincoln has been stuck in the Middle East for months, and the strain is showing. United States Central Command Commander Brad Cooper recently visited the carrier to offer praise, but his words can’t mask a growing problem: our sailors are being pushed to their limits.
The Lincoln has been deployed in response to ongoing tensions with Iran, part of a Middle East presence that seems to have no end date. Extended deployments like this take a serious toll, and military families back home are paying the price right alongside the sailors themselves.

Cooper’s visit comes as mental health concerns among deployed troops continue to mount. Long separations from family, the constant operational tempo, and the uncertainty of when they’ll come home create conditions that break even the strongest service members.
The praise from leadership rings hollow when you consider the actual conditions these sailors face. Months at sea, away from spouses and children, missing births, birthdays, and everything in between. No amount of commendations can replace time lost with loved ones.
This isn’t about supporting our troops with words—it’s about bringing them home. The endless Middle East deployments serve a foreign policy establishment that can’t seem to define victory or articulate why American sailors should be separated from their families indefinitely.
Our military personnel deserve better than to be used as perpetual policemen in a region where our interests are increasingly unclear. They signed up to defend America, not to float endlessly off foreign shores while their mental health deteriorates and their families struggle alone.
The recognition of deployment challenges is a step, but it’s not a solution. What these sailors need isn’t more praise from brass visiting for photo ops. They need clear missions, defined timelines, and leadership willing to prioritize American service members over globalist foreign policy games.
Wyatt Matters
When we ask young Americans to serve, we owe them more than endless deployments and empty thank-yous. These are somebody’s sons and daughters, husbands and wives, missing months and years of their lives for missions that seem to have no finish line. Real support for our troops means bringing them home to their families, not stretching them thin across the globe while pretending a commander’s visit fixes the problem. Our military families deserve leaders who understand that strength comes from taking care of our own, not from endless foreign entanglements that serve everyone except the people in uniform.
