January 1, SHOCKING Fake Actress Storms Legacy Television

Wyatt’s Take

  • Big newsrooms sat down with a computer fake and treated her like a real movie star.
  • Working Americans know a robot cannot act, cry, or earn a living like a real person.
  • The same networks that hype AI doomsday now roll out a fake Hollywood star like she is Julia Roberts.

Legacy television just put a computer-made “actress” on a press tour. Regular folks in the heartland can smell the stunt a mile away.

The fake is called Tilly Norwood. A shop named Xicoia built her with artificial intelligence and billed her as the first AI “actor.”

Talent agencies talked about signing her. Now CNN, NBC, and CBS are lining up to “interview” a program that is not even alive.

She first “sat down” with CNN. She is no Julia Roberts, and real Hollywood is already angry.

Norwood could describe a reporter’s outfit. She still needed hours of extra computer prompts just to fake a basic scene.

Her creator, Eline Van der Velden, says she is not trying to replace human actors. Her company is still cooking up more fake Hollywood faces anyway.

On NBC, a morning-show reporter talked to Norwood. The fake even admitted it was not a real interview because she “is not real” and felt like chatting with ChatGPT.

The reporter asked about talk that AI could wipe out people. Norwood answered like a talking brochure.

“That’s a very serious concern, Chloe, my purpose is to be a creative tool, not a threat,”

Van der Velden asked for “really good” rules so the tech is not misused. The NBC reporter said Norwood looked glitchy and robotic.

“I don’t think that she’s coming for our jobs quite yet,”

CBS talked to her too and left a reporter creeped out. The actors union is already steamed, and so are people who still believe news should be about real human beings.

This comes after the same crowd panicked that AI might end mankind. Then they put a fake star on morning TV like it was a red-carpet stop.

A media critic said the whole circus defied logic. He pointed to the gap between marveling at a fake actress and warning that government must clamp down or humanity is finished.

“It illustrated a massive disconnect between marvel over this AI ‘actress’ and the rest of the reporting on NBC and other broadcast networks falling in line with AI executives asserting humanity is at stake unless the government steps in immediately with dramatic and strict regulations,”

Podcaster John Ziegler told the press to knock it off.

“This insanity has GOT to be nipped in the bud! We can NOT have multiple ‘legitimate news organizations’ doing ‘interviews’ with AI-generated actress Tilly Norwood as if she is on a media tour, and not even as some sort of technological experiment,”

Hollywood After Dark host Matt Jarbo said the stunt backfired.

“If the goal was to legitimize the idea of an AI actress, it did the exact opposite. She doesn’t sound convincing, she doesn’t perform convincingly, and when CNN asked her to improvise a basic emotional scene, the whole thing apparently took hours of additional computer work just to produce something usable,”

“And I say that as someone who is pro-AI video. The technology is advancing insanely fast, which makes Tilly feel even more outdated,”

“Current AI models are already moving beyond what this ‘actress’ can do. So maybe the anti-AI crowd gets this one.”

Critics asked why newsrooms are platforming a fake in the first place. It echoes the ugly stunt when Jim Acosta “interviewed” an AI avatar of a dead Parkland student to push a political message.

“It echoes the deeply disturbing display seen when Jim Acosta ‘interviewed’ the dead Parkland High School student, Joaquin Oliver. His parents fabricated an AI version of their deceased son for activist purposes,”

Common-sense Americans do not need a robot in mascara to tell them what art is. Real actors, real crews, and real jobs still matter more than a glitchy computer puppet.

Wyatt Matters

Middle America still believes in real people doing real work. Families do not want Hollywood and the news replacing neighbors with software, then lecturing the rest of us about truth. A fake star on morning TV is not progress. It is another reminder that elites will sell anything, even make-believe, while working folks are expected to clap.
