January 1, Senator’s Question Sparks Heated Exchange in Hearing
Senator Mazie Hirono, a Democrat from Hawaii, tried to stir up trouble during a hearing on Wednesday. She asked Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth a tricky question, suggesting that President Trump might ask troops to do something bad. But Hegseth was not having any of it. He made it clear that this was just another attempt to make President Trump look bad.
The Senator wanted Hegseth to say what he’d do if President Trump ordered troops to be mean to peaceful protesters. She was talking about the situation in Los Angeles, where there were riots after Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) tried to do their job. President Trump had sent extra help from the California National Guard and U.S. Marines to keep everyone safe and protect federal buildings.
Hirono asked if Hegseth would follow an order from Trump to “shoot peaceful protesters in the legs.” But Hegseth flat out said no. He told the Senator he would not agree with her question and reminded her that this was just another way to make President Trump look bad. He stood strong and didn’t let her sway him.
This wasn’t the first time Hirono has been a part of these tactics. Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters from California made similar wild claims. She joined protesters in Los Angeles, calling out the ICE agents and suggesting that they were there to shoot people. She even taunted them, saying if they shot her, they better aim right.
It’s a classic move to twist things around and accuse those trying to protect our laws and safety of doing something wrong. But folks like Hegseth are standing firm to keep our country secure and defend our leaders from unfounded accusations.

These STUPID Democrats always come up with conspiracies or other theories about anything Republicans do. They just can’t admit when they are WRONG. They treat ICE as bullies&Illegal aliens that are protesting as victims, can they not see that they BROKE the law&ICE is enforcing the law. The Democrats could NOT run a lemonade stand right&even organize a 1 man parade!

Things are going upside down and a few when compared to the population as a whole are becoming extremely wealthy and it sure is changing the military. These individuals in this article are no better than any of the other recruits rather they be active or reserve. These individuals should have to pass all the requirements all others do when they first join. Are these individuals going to receive the same pay and benefits as the other reservist and active? Will their family members receive the same benefits?
Reminds me of the paths taken to bring a country into the path of communism for the general population.

Democrats have an appropriate emblem for their party. The jackass reveals their true nature. Republicans have an elephant as their emblem which is fine since elephants don’t forget. But maybe they should have a crawfish with claws in the air. No offense to President Trump because he is trying to do something. His emblem should be a Phoenix rising from the ashes. Too many democrats are stirring up hate period. They need to just work for our country not demeam it. Any body that gives false information about anything with our government, its elected officials, police etc, should be ostracized and charged accordingly. If they have to shoot with Maxine Waters in the so called demonstrations, just tell them to shoot the “ugly” one. They will Wayers dead center. Give out her home address and let them demonstrate there.
