Wyatt’s Take

  • Sen. Eric Schmitt warns about a surge in birth tourism by Chinese nationals.
  • Concerns rise over American citizenship laws being used for foreign advantage.
  • Calls grow louder for policy changes to protect U.S. sovereignty.

Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO) wants America to crack down on what he calls the “Manchurian Generation.” He’s talking about children born in the U.S. to Chinese nationals who use loopholes to get citizenship, only to be raised in China and later return as voters.

“We need to get serious about expatriation for the Manchurian Generation,” Schmitt wrote. “Allowing this system to stay in place is civilizational suicide. We will either become a sovereign nation once again, or we will sanction our own invasion.”

Investigative journalist Peter Schweizer reveals in his latest book that a birth tourism pipeline lets Chinese mothers come to the U.S. and give birth so their kids get automatic citizenship. As those kids turn twenty-one, they can bring their parents here permanently through chain migration.

Schweizer uses Saipan, a Pacific territory, as an example where more than 70% of newborns are reportedly born to Chinese birth tourists, taking advantage of easy entry rules to secure citizenship for their children.

President Trump praised Schweizer’s book, calling it “vitally important and very interesting.”

Leaders warn that America’s generous citizenship laws are being manipulated, and regular folks across the country are left holding the bag.

If we don’t protect our citizenship, we risk losing more than just our borders. It’s our future on the line.
