January 1, Satanic Temple Opens Health Clinic to Perform ‘Abortion Rituals’

The Satanic Temple (TST) is opening a reproductive health clinic in New Mexico to provide telehealth screenings and appointments and prescribe abortion medication to those “who wish to perform The Satanic Temple’s Religious Abortion Ritual.”

In order to be eligible for services at the so-called Samuel Alito’s Mom’s Satanic Abortion Clinic, patients must be at least 17 years old, up to 11 weeks pregnant, and “interested in performing TST’s abortion ritual, or are a TST member,” according to the clinic’s website.

“The ritual consists solely of spoken words. TST’s abortion ritual is exclusively verbal. It is meant to provide vocal affirmation and comfort for those obtaining an abortion. The oral ritual includes the recitation of The Satanic Temple’s Third and Fifth tenets,” the website reads.

Once the abortion-seeker speaks the incantation, they can then complete a confidential screening and virtual appointment. Patients will receive their abortion medication within 3-5 days after their video call via “the clinic’s pharmacy partner, who will mail the medications in a discreet package.”

Eligible patients must also be in New Mexico at the time of the online appointment and have a New Mexico mailing address. Patients will receive their abortion medication within 3-5 days after their video call.

The Satanic Temple’s abortion services are free but patients must pay for their medication, which costs “around $90.”

“TST is proud to expand reproductive options for our members. This is just the beginning,” said Erin Helian, the TST’s Executive Director of Campaigns. “We will remain steadfast as we continue the fight to uphold reproductive justice in the United States.”

The Satanic Temple named the facility “The Samuel Alito’s Mom’s Satanic Abortion Clinic.”

“In 1950, Samuel Alito’s mother did not have options, and look what happened,” said Malcolm Jarry, the cofounder of TST. “Prior to 1973, doctors who performed abortions could lose their licenses and go to jail. The clinic’s name serves to remind people just how important it is to have the right to control one’s body and the potential ramifications of losing that right.”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said the Satanic Temple’s clinic is an indication that “American Christians need to get to work.”

The Grammy’s featured Sam Smith’s demonic performance and was sponsored by Pfizer.

And the Satanic Church now has an abortion clinic in NM that requires its patients to perform a satanic ritual before services.
