January 1, Rubio Calls Out Military for Axing “Sound of Freedom” Showings

Once again, the establishment’s questionable decisions have left patriots scratching their heads. Senator Marco Rubio is in the spotlight, demanding answers and action after the cancelation of the box office hit, Sound of Freedom at the US Southern Command headquarters in sunny Doral, Florida.

To catch you up: the anti-child sex trafficking film was set to screen on two dates. But lo and behold, the military pulls the plug, echoing whispers from the mainstream media that the Christian-based thriller smelled too much like a “Q-Anon” conspiracy. Their ‘official’ reason? “Copyright infringement violations.” Sound fishy to anyone else?

Rubio, never one to be duped by the bureaucratic smoke and mirrors, fired back in a letter. “Let’s be clear,” Rubio essentially said, “The Department of Defense collaborates with movie companies all the time for free screenings on our military bases.” Heck, Elvis had advanced screenings on over 20 bases last year!

The senator also pointed out that the film’s distributor, Angel Studios, was happy to send someone over after the screenings to chat with the military folks and their families about any questions. A classy move.

But here’s the kicker: Rubio states that the producers and distributors of Sound of Freedom had given their nod of approval for the showing. So, any so-called “concerns” about copyright infringement are simply, to put it politely, bogus.

SOUTHCOM tried to dodge the ball, saying that their decision was based on “applicable laws and regulations,” and that troops could just watch the film in a local theater. But why the cancellation in the first place? Especially when Army Col. Emanuel Ortiz himself recognized the film’s importance, noting its aim to shed light on the dark world of transcontinental human trafficking.

This film, inspired by real-life hero Tim Ballard’s journey from CIA and Department of Homeland Security agent to forming Operation Underground Railroad (OUR) – an organization dedicated to fighting child sex trafficking – is no light matter.

So, we’re left asking: What’s the real reason behind the cancelation? Politics? Pressure? Whatever it is, with Rubio on the case, we’re sure to get some answers. Stay tuned, folks.

I can not understand that the military can watch the same film at a local theater but are not allowed to watch the exact film in a theater on base. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to see there is something fishy about the cancellation.

Being that the Chairman of the Joint Chief and the SECDEF are both Biden appointees are holders from Obama’s crew might have something to do with it. Remember, Obama said he intended to change America and those two are Generals that he kept while “cashiering 400 plus Generals and Admirals” that would not agree to kill American if there was a uprising.

You are absolutely correct. Now we are stuck with these “WOKE” so-called military leaders who couldn’t properly oversee a squad much less an army.

Americans, are you as tired and fed up with cancelations of things our government doesn’t agree with, usually because they are paid for their opinions – who cares about the American people. I watch the news and cringe over what has happened and is happening to this country every day. This is no longer America. I saw the Sound of Freedom and everyone in this country needs to see it. We certainly are in need of a SOUND OF FREDDOM REVERERATING THROUGHOUT THIS LAND! We need a wake up call for all Americans if we want to get our country back!
    signed: a heartsick patriot.

Our clearly “WOKE”, so-called military leadership at work. The so-called leadership MUST be thrown out on their rear-ends because they are as useless as tits on a boar hog. They are also detrimental to our country.

Why do people have to comment on Articles using the word “woke”? It’s like they’re trying to impress people by using the word since it’s so popular today. To tell the truth, I’m sick of hearing the word in every political Article and comments.
