House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) demonstrated a noticeable lack of clarity during a recent CNN interview when questioned about two IRS whistleblowers who testified before Congress last week.
Pelosi appeared on CNN’s “State of the Union” with host Dana Bash.
Bash brought up the testimony of the two career IRS investigators who claimed, under oath, that the Justice Department had downplayed their investigation into President Biden’s son, Hunter, and disregarded recommendations to file more serious felony charges.
“Are you confident the politics did not play a role here?” Bash asked.
However, Pelosi’s response veered away from the topic at hand.
She appeared to mix up the IRS whistleblower hearing with a non-related hearing involving Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, who she inaccurately referred to as “Joe Kennedy.”
“Well, it was a — since you reference the hearing, what a ridiculous clown show, again, on the part of the Republicans,” Pelosi responded.
“Here was a purpose that you described. What did they do? Bring in Joe Kennedy talking about censorship, that he’s being censored, as he’s talking to the world in a congressional hearing, and showing pictures that had nothing to do with the essence of it.”
When further pressed on whether she thought the Department of Justice was conducting a fair investigation, Pelosi deflected again.
She did acknowledge her respect for whistleblowers but dismissed the hearing as a “clown show” due to photos presented by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and, again, inaccurately referenced RKF Jr., who was not even present.
“No, I’m not — I’m not confident of — about what the whistleblower said,” Pelosi said.
“The U.S. attorney was a Trump attorney. This is their opinion. It was not the opinion of others there.”

Pelosi has put every Smirnoff child and grandchild thru college just by all of the vodka she purchased. The Smithsonian wants her pickled brain when she croaks. She has done SQUAT for America and even less for California. The Pope evidently cashed a big check from her so he could say she’s a “good Catholic”. I hope Pope Francis went to confession after telling that BIG LIE!!!
