January 1, Poll: Nothing Trump Does Will Change Most Voters’ Minds

This Day in History | 1906
Teddy Roosevelt becomes the first president to travel outside the continental U.S. on an official diplomatic mission.
Stop me if you’ve heard this one before. Nothing President Donald Trump does in office will change the minds of more than half of the people who support him or disapprove of him, according to the latest Monmouth University poll.
Overall, 43 percent approve of Trump’s job performance, with 51 percent disapproving and 6 percent having no opinion. Monmouth found that of those that approve of Trump’s job performance
62 percent said nothing Trump does in his term could make them disapprove of his performance. Good luck Democrats.
Today we also have report about EU Ambassador Gordon Sondland, who has revised his congressional testimony to admit that there may have been a quid pro quo after all. But will this change anyone’s mind? For an answer to that question refer to our first headline.
We also have an update on ABC news after the release of hot mic video of anchor Amy Robach saying she was frustrated because ABC news spiked a story that would have exposed Epstein for who he was. ABC news says the story wasn’t ready to air.

ABC Says Interview with Epstein Accuser Wasn’t Ready to Air
(AP) – ABC News faced questions Tuesday about its reluctance to air a sensitive story of alleged sexual misconduct after a leaked video emerged of reporter Amy Robach complaining about how her bosses handled an interview with a Jeffrey Epstein accuser.

Robach made her remarks late in August while sitting in a Times Square studio with a microphone but not on the air.
