Bonnie Watson-Coleman, LaMonica McIver, and Rob Menendez—along with Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, decided they were just gonna waltz into Delaney Hall, a detention center where ICE holds criminal illegal aliens. They weren’t invited. They weren’t authorized. But they waited for a gate to open, pushed their way through, and caused a big scene. Mayor Baraka even got himself arrested.

Now, the Democrats are claiming ICE agents were “rough” with them. But guess what? Body-cam footage tells a whole different story. The footage, shared with Fox News, clearly shows Rep. LaMonica McIver elbowing her way past ICE agents. Rep. Menendez followed right behind, while McIver started yelling in the agents’ faces. And these are the people accusing *ICE* of being too aggressive? Give me a break.

Todd Lyons, the acting ICE director, had something important to say about all this. Speaking on “Fox & Friends,” he reminded everyone that ICE agents put their lives on the line every day to keep dangerous people off the streets. You’d think these folks would have the decency to thank the agents instead of storming past them and acting all high and mighty.

If this wasn’t ridiculous enough, let me tell you about Mayor Baraka. This guy is out here running for governor, so he’s clearly using this as a big publicity stunt. Earlier in the week, he even had city workers park a bulldozer in front of the detention center to block it. A *bulldozer*! Who does that? It’s like he’s throwing a tantrum because he disagrees with the facility. But breaking the rules and disrupting law enforcement isn’t how any of this works—or at least, it shouldn’t be.

The bottom line here is clear. These Democrat leaders are showing everyone exactly what happens when you put politics over public safety. Instead of supporting our ICE agents, who are doing a tough and dangerous job, they’re trying to play victim and bury the truth. Well, we see right through it. And let’s not forget this lesson: law and order matter, and so does backing the men and women who protect us. That’s what real leadership looks like.
