January 1, Plane passenger opens emergency exit, walks onto wing
A passenger on a flight landing at the Miami International Airport used an emergency exit and walked out onto the plane’s wing, police said.
US Customs and Border Protection detained the man, authorities said. The flight departed from Colombia, and the man is a US citizen.
The man reportedly told the Miami-Dade Police he wasn’t feeling well. Authorities took him to an emergency room, and he will head to jail after he’s released from the hospital.
