January 1, Pete Hegseth’s Mother Defends Son Amidst Fierce Media Scrutiny
Penelope Hegseth was on “Fox & Friends” to stand up for her son, Pete Hegseth. Left-leaning media have been throwing a lot of mud at Pete since President-elect Trump picked him for Secretary of Defense. The attacks say things like he drank too much and was mean to women. Even The New York Times jumped in, sharing a private email from Penelope during Pete’s rough divorce.
Penelope told everyone on TV that Pete is a true patriot who loves and has fought for his country. She’s proud of him as a dad and a son. She wants people to know the real Pete, not the one the media keeps talking about.
She thanked everyone who still believes in her son. She said Pete has changed from who he was seven years ago. “I’m not that mother,” she said. She hopes that senators, especially women senators, will listen to Pete himself, not to the media.
Steve Doocy, the host, asked her about the email where she said Pete wasn’t being good to women. Penelope explained that people change over time. Back then, Pete and his wife were going through a tough divorce. Emotions were high. She wrote that email in a hurry and regretted it later. She even apologized, but no one talks about that.
Penelope then talked about how the media does its business. She said the media use threats to get stories. They called her, threatened to publish things, and that’s not right. She warned that these media tactics are harmful to families.
This is something to think about, folks. We need to stand up against how the media treats American families, especially those who serve our country.
Wyatt Matters!
The media can say a lot of things about people they don’t really know. That’s what’s happening with Pete Hegseth. There’s lots of talk about how he acted in the past, but it’s important to listen to those who know him best. His mom, Penelope, went on TV to tell everyone the truth about her son. She talked about how much Pete loves his country and how proud she is of him as both a dad and a son. She believes that people should hear about the Pete she knows, not just what the media says about him.
Things people say in the heat of the moment don’t always show who someone really is. When Penelope wrote an email during Pete’s tough divorce, it was a stressful time for everyone. She was quick to say things she didn’t really mean, and she later apologized for them. This experience reminds us how people can grow and change. Pete isn’t the same person from seven years ago, and people should be open to seeing how he’s different now.
The way the media sometimes works can really hurt families. Penelope shared that reporters even threatened her to get their stories. This isn’t fair, especially to people who serve our country. We need to be careful about how much we believe from the media and remember that there are real people and families behind those stories. It’s essential to hear both sides and not rush to judgment based on what we read or hear.

My husband served our Country in the U.S. Navy and is a true Patriot, but I don’t think that justifies him being Secretary of Defense. You seem quick to blame the media but you are no different. Now that things are out in the open, we want to retract our previous statement, right. I have no doubt that people can and do change but, once a reputation is tarnished it stays with you for quite sometime. And he is certainly not the only person who’s gone through a rough and horrible divorce!! And why must a grown man need his mother to fight his battle anyway? Trust me as a parent with children that age, we don’t know half of what they do and that’s because it’s none of our business!!!

Pete is a victim of a bias media now, a bias divorce state system (men have absolute no right here, similar to women in the Islamic Taliban justice system)’ Let give this real patriot and talent man a chance to serve this great country again.
