Wyatt’s Take

  • Democrats rage over $22 million for troop steaks and lobster.
  • They ignored the same under Obama and Biden.
  • Bigger wastes like $18 billion Somali fraud get no complaints.

Democrats are fired up about Secretary Pete Hegseth feeding our troops steak and lobster.

They call it wasteful, but this happened often under Obama and Clinton too.

“I worked at Embassy Baghdad in 2011-2013. Obama was president and Hillary was SOS. We had Steak & Lobster served in the DFAC on a regular basis.”

Afghanistan bases served steak, lobster, guacamole, and more back in 2011.

“Steak, lobster and guacamole might not spring to mind as war rations, but the larger US bases in Afghanistan have an impressive array of ‘chow’ to fuel their troops for the fight.”

Upgraded chow like crab legs often signaled war was coming.

Under Biden, the military spent $103.7 million on meat, fish, and poultry, including $16.6 million on ribeye and $6.1 million on lobster tails.

“You need to put context to this. The military spent $103.7 million on meat, fish and poultry, including $16.6 million on ribeye steak and 147 orders of lobster tail for $6.1 million. In 2024.”

“I could be wrong, but I don’t recall a photo of Lloyd Austin holding plastic lobsters when that report came out.”

Democrats stay quiet on $150 billion for illegal immigration or billions in state fraud.

Our troops deserve good food before facing threats like Iran.

Stand with our soldiers and share if you back feeding heroes right.

Feed the troops the best food we can. They are in a country that I wouldn’t want to be in. I’ve spent time in that part of the world longer than I liked. So, feed the troops what they want or can have.
