Wyatt’s Take

  • CBS dropped two short promos showing Oprah’s big sit-down with Meghan and Harry, stirring up a lot of questions.
  • Harry draws a connection between his worries and the experiences of his late mother, Princess Diana.
  • The televised event is set for March 7 and marks Meghan and Harry’s first interview together since leaving the royal family for America.

This new CBS special has folks talking across the country. The short promos released don’t reveal much of Meghan’s voice, but Oprah’s questions hint at some heavy topics coming up.

Harry says in the promo.

“My biggest concern was history repeating itself.”

He also speaks about sitting beside Meghan.

“I can’t begin to imagine what it must have been for her going through this process by herself all those years ago.”

The interview will let Meghan, now living in California, share her story about life as a royal, marriage, and facing public pressure. Later, Harry joins her to discuss their new life in America and what the future might look like for their family.

Oprah, who attended Harry and Meghan’s wedding, is working with Harry on a documentary series as well. They all live in the same Southern California area after the couple chose their own path away from royal duties in March 2020.

Since stepping back, Meghan and Harry have signed major deals with Netflix and Spotify. Buckingham Palace confirmed earlier this year that the couple won’t return as working royals.

“Oprah with Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special”

is set to air Sunday, March 7, at 8 pm EST on CBS.

Don’t miss a story getting folks across America talking about family, choices, and the future.
