Wyatt’s Take

  • Conservative officials are fighting back against false reporting.
  • The Times admitted to misquoting a lesson as a blessing.
  • Mainstream news outlets continue targeting populist policies.

The establishment media just got caught red-handed trying to sabotage the Trump administration’s latest economic move.

Jacob Helberg had to call out the paper of record for literally making up quotes and inflating numbers.

Under Secretary of State Jacob Helberg publicly slammed the legacy outlet for including what he described as completely fabricated quotes in a recent report.

The story focused on an investor consortium aimed at reducing global dependency on foreign minerals and semiconductors.

“The @NYTimes completely FABRICATED quotes that never happened,” Helberg posted.

“We submitted corrections (multiple times). They ignored them. So for posterity, sharing my full remarks.”

The paper was forced to admit it misstated a $1 trillion investment goal as $4 trillion.

It also falsely claimed Helberg called a Middle East shipping crisis a blessing when he actually referred to it as a lesson.

The corrected article initially misrepresented the total assets managed by the investment group.

This marks another instance of major newsrooms having to walk back false claims made against the current administration.

This is the same outlet that previously pushed debunked narratives about border agents and conservative activists.

When the facts do not fit the liberal agenda, it seems some reporters simply invent their own.

Wyatt Matters

This shows why Middle Americans cannot trust the coastal elites to tell the truth.

They hate that Trump is securing our supply chains and putting our industries first, so they try to smear the effort with lies.
