Gavin Newsom is taking his feud with Donald Trump to another level. The California governor said he’s getting ready to sell a coin poking fun at the former president in his online shop.
Newsom got the idea after bringing up Trump’s “crypto grift.” He joked that the coin might be called a “Trump corruption coin or something.”
The governor is already making money off merchandise mocking Trump. “THE PATRIOT SHOP IS NOW OPEN!!!!” he posted proudly, hyping it up as the “greatest merchandise ever made.”
The stuff for sale includes a red cap styled like Trump’s hats, but with the phrase “NEWSOM WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING!” Newsom’s official press accounts have mimicked Trump’s style to troll his supporters.
One post even bragged, “EXCEPT WHAT IS WRITTEN AND BROADCAST IN THE FAKE NEWS, I NOW HAVE THE HIGHEST POLL NUMBERS I’VE EVER HAD, SOME IN THE 60’S AND EVEN 70’S. THANK YOU. MAKE AMERICA GAVIN AGAIN!!! — GCN”
Solutions to real problems aren’t found in petty online jokes. Middle America is paying attention.

Out in the heartland, these games look out of touch with families just trying to get by. Folks want leaders to focus on jobs and cost of living, not making cheap political jabs.
