Liberal critics blasted Vice President Kamala Harris over a “tone-deaf” photo she posted online in response to the Roe v. Wade protests that broke out nationwide.
In the photo, the VP is watching news coverage of the protests aboard Air Force 2.
“I know there are women out there who are afraid. To those of you who feel alone and scared: I want you to know the President and I are fighting for you and your rights. We are in this fight together,” Harris wrote alongside the photo on Twitter.
Pro-choice critics quickly responded to Harris, expressing dismay with the VP’s “tone-deaf” photo.
“Um. 36,000 feet above everything, watching on a big ass TV in a private plane, and the message is ‘we’re in this together’? I’m not sure you guys get where the rest of us are at right now,” said Joan McCarter, a writer for the left-wing outlet Daily Kos.
Activist Imani Barbarin tweeted: “Who was the strategist that decided a photo op on a taxpayer funded private plane both physically and metaphorically above the people watching pensively while not demonstrating action was a good idea?”
Jack Mirkinson, the editor of the left-leaning Discourse Blog, wrote: “You could try and try, but you would not invent a more cutting visual metaphor for the democrats’ total detachment from the abortion fight than this.”
“Not VP Kamala Harris watching the erosion of Roe vs. Wade from her plane, at a distance,” writer Anna Gifty tweeted. Whoever thought this was [a] good photo-op needs to be fired immediately.”

And you have seen such toilets? How was that? Must have entered through the sewer up to the seat and then flushed again. Besides if he had done such he would have had to pay for it himself. BTW the plane she is on is not Air Force 2 until she boards it. The same plane could be Air Force 1 if Biden boards it and Air Force 3 if Pelosi boards it.
