  • She calls on students to stay curious and value their own ideas.
  • The first lady warns against letting AI replace real human thinking.

Melania Trump spoke to America’s youth about artificial intelligence, saying it can help them learn and grow but should never take the place of their own minds. Speaking during a video call event, she reminded students that curiosity sparks true achievement.

“History reminds us that curiosity is the driving force behind every great achievement,” she said. “Artificial intelligence is changing today’s world, and your curiosity should serve as a driving force.”

The First Lady pointed out that AI can help bring creative ideas to life, from music to painting, but it takes human imagination to make something truly meaningful. She challenged students to question everything and “be stubbornly curious.”

She made it clear: AI can be useful, but it should only help people think, not do all the thinking for them.

“We must remember, although artificial intelligence can generate images and information, only humans can generate meaning and purpose,” she said.

Trump wrapped up her comments by telling students to lead with their own ideas.

“Never surrender your thinking to AI.”

She also warned that while AI can give easy answers, it’s up to young Americans to use their own smarts and stay honest.

Since her husband returned to the White House, Melania Trump has pushed for new ways to use AI in schools. Earlier, she met with top education and technology officials to figure out how to use this fast-growing tech wisely and responsibly.
