Wyatt’s Take

  • Melania’s new documentary scored big at theaters, raking in another million on Monday.
  • The film is now expanding into 200 more theaters across even more cities.
  • Critics may hate it, but regular folks are packing theaters to watch it.

Melania Trump’s documentary film, Melania, pulled in a million dollars at the box office on Monday. The impressive grassroots support has convinced Amazon MGM to add the film to more than 200 new theaters in cities where it’s already showing strong numbers.

“All of First Lady Melania Trump’s hard work is paying off,” said her senior advisor and producer Marc Beckman.

He continued, “We now have one of the highest openings for a documentary film in 14 years and we’re quickly expanding into more theater houses across the country.”

The film pulled in over $7 million from Friday through Sunday, giving it the top documentary opening in ten years. According to Beckman, the studio is thrilled and plans to reach nearly 2,000 theaters nationwide.

The movie is being added to markets that outperformed expectations, such as Dallas, Orlando, Tampa, West Palm Beach, and Phoenix. It’s even coming to larger cities like New York, Chicago, and Atlanta.

“This is just old fashion quality storytelling from the First Lady of the United States,” Beckman said.

Director Brett Ratner added, “I have to give all the credit to Melania because this was something that she came up with, even, obviously, before she met me.”

He shared, “It’s very rare that documentaries get released in theaters. So it was really her vision to have that and to see it through.”

The film faced harsh Hollywood critics, earning just six percent from them, but the public gave it a 99 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Don’t let the coastal elites tell you what’s worth watching — support films that speak to Middle America.

Jeaously is an ugly monster isn’t it Hollywood elites ladies or whoever you are. Doesn’t matter how beautiful you are…it’s what’s in the heart. And most of your hearts are black. Go see that wonderful documentary and get that evil monkey off your shoulders. What the film made in a weekend is what the jeaously is all about. And the fact that she is President Trump’s wife. There’s alot of diarrhea coming out of your mouths’ and it’s beginning to stink.

I saw this and loved it. She is as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside. It showed her love of family. Her fun side and her style and grace. She is a remarkable person. Sorry for those that are jealous of her. Maybe those people need to ask God for forgiveness. I only wish the documentary was longer.

A few friends and I saw it last week and loved Melania. She is so beautiful, has grace and style. She really does show the love of family and the American people. It’s too bad that Hollywood always disgraces beauty, but, they don’t have to worry they already have their millions. May be they can see what the American people really want in movies.
