January 1, Marjorie Taylor Greene Quits Congress After Trump Split
Wyatt’s Take

- Trump revoked his support over her criticism
- Greene says her district shouldn’t face a nasty primary
Marjorie Taylor Greene, the Georgia Republican, said she’s leaving Congress in January. She made the announcement after butting heads with former President Trump, who took away his endorsement.
Greene accused Trump of focusing too much on stopping foreign wars and not enough on America First topics. She also disagreed with other Republicans over healthcare and how to handle the Epstein files.
“I have too much self respect and dignity, love my family way too much, and do not want my sweet district to have to endure a hurtful and hateful primary against me by the President we all fought for, only to fight and win my election while Republicans will likely lose the midterms,”
she posted online.
Her exit is set for January 5. Some folks say this shows deep divides inside the party.

Wyatt Matters
It’s tough to watch good folks get pushed out when what matters most is standing up for the people back home. That spirit is what built this country, and it’s what will keep it strong.
